Mimi the crochet African flower dragon (WIP)

I have crocheted this piece before but the piece came out bigger than expected as when I started to make the pattern I thought it would be smaller not realising how it would turn out once finished. The piece consists of segments that put together create the finished piece as show bellow.

So this time I decided to try and make the piece palm sized instead of the size of a pillow. I had tried before to make a smaller version but it wouldn't work the way I usually created a piece as it made the stitching to lose making the stuffing show through. But with perseverance it is working this time.
